I'm grateful..
...we are taking some students to the Big XII Conference on Black Student Government next week and I am presenting an advisors' workshop!
...I was asked to be a board member for the Texas Youth Word Collective (a literacy program here in Austin)...
...I get to see my youngest brother next week!
...we got to share some laughs at Plucker's ("hell naw cocoa butter doesn't come from coconuts!")!J
...I'm attending a hoity-toity lunch with the president of our university and the staff in his office on Friday!J
...for your continued honesty and vulnerability...
...for being able to remember what it feels like to be desired...
...for conversations like this:

...my Grandpa would have been 83 years-old on February 8th! Happy birthday Cram! R.I.P....J
...my parents have been talking about getting re-married...to each other!!!!
...for everytime you ask "is this how it would be?" J
...for having a great time with my staff on Monday night at Main Event USA...
...the Creator is preparing me to enter my 30th year like Kanye West, "excuse me? were you saying something? uh uhn, you can't tell me NOTHING!" (16 days to go) J

That's way cool that your parents want to remarry, awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww so sweet...and you're going to be 30? Wow!! That's a great blessing indeed, we can't tell you NOTHING, LOL

@ ms. delaleu: i don't know how i feel yet about my parents being re-married though. i mean, of course i want them to be happy and they have always been good friends and loved each other. i guess i just can't fight the urge to be like "daddy, you better do my mama right!!!!" hahahahha

The parent rekindle is too sweet! I'm so happy for them.
